George Pickhardt, president of Arrow Environmental since 1988, holds a PhD in plant nutrition from Cornell University as well as a master’s degree in entomology from the University of Florida. Eddie Tanguay is working toward national certifications in irrigation contracting and auditing as well as water conservation. Larry Reynolds, who heads our pest control and termite divisions, and Ray Novarro, who directs our lawn and landscape teams, also have earned the industry’s highest certifications.
The technicians who actually perform the day-to-day services also complete the industry’s most comprehensive training with a minimum of 75 hours of classroom instruction every year. Along with stringent in-house programs that focus on both technical skills and customer service, they attend ongoing seminars offered through the University of Florida so our customers benefit from the most recent research on sustainable pest control.
